Rotary unions also called as swivel joints are used to transfer liquids and gases through rotating joints. Transferred media may be e.g. hydraulic oil, chemicals, water or air. Both fluids and gases may be transferred through single rotary union simultaneously.
Combinent designs and produces customized rotary unions for solutions where no standard solution is available in the market. Often the rotary union needs to be integrated into larger mechanical structure which is also made in Combinent. Rotary union is often also used as one part in the Hybrid slip ring units. In those cases Combinent produces customer a complete ready to mount solution. Product design is made by Combinent or in co-operation with the customer or product is produced based on customer drawings.
