Hybrid slip rings have different slip rings types integrated together. Hybrid slip rings may have e.g. electric power and signal slip rings, rotary joint and optical slip ring all integrated into the same slip ring unit.
Hybrid slip rings are typically very application specific solutions. Hybrid slip rings are found e.g. in cranes, ship propulsion systems and rescue vehicles.
Combinent has long experience on making hybrid slip rings for demanding applications. Most of the hybrid slip rings produced by Combinent are currently in use in applications in harsh conditions in off-shore oil drilling fields and in humid tropical conditions on-shore.
